Frank Madaio
Experienced Food Safety Instructor & Industry Professional
 

Frank Madaio is the owner and founder of Westchester Food Safety, a food safety training and certification company serving food establishments throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut tri-state area.

With more than a decade of experience in the food service and food safety industry, Frank brings a unique combination of food service experience, professional training, education, and communication skills to his work.

Frank has also been teaching English for more than 20 years, giving him extensive experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and finding effective ways to make complex information understandable, engaging, and practical. His years as an educator have strongly influenced his approach to food safety training and his ability to connect with people in the classroom.

Having previously owned and managed a food establishment himself, Frank understands firsthand the pressures that come with running a business, managing employees, maintaining food safety standards, and navigating local and state regulatory requirements.

​

Since 2015, Frank has dedicated himself to helping restaurants, hotels, schools, country clubs, healthcare facilities, and other food service organizations improve their food safety practices. Through Westchester Food Safety, he provides ServSafe Food Protection Manager training and certification, food handler training, customized on-site programs, and mock health inspections designed around the real-world needs of each operation.

What sets Frank apart is his practical and educational approach. He believes food safety training should be more than simply passing an exam—it should give people the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to make better decisions every day.

Frank is also an author and publisher, creating educational resources and materials focused on food safety and the food service industry. His goal is to make important information easier to understand and put into practice.
