I am a Food Safety provider/instructor at Westchester Food Safety. I have been training restaurants and food establishments throughout the tri-state since 2015 and have taught over 350 courses. I have an amazing reputation which can be seen across the web. I am excited to announce some programs that you will benefit from. I would like the opportunity to train your food service staff/kitchen staff at your location. Here are some options to consider.
1) Private Live ServSafe Manager’s Course & Exam. At your location. For groups of 4 or more. All grades are final and ServSafe certificates are granted immediate after passing the exam.
Health Department approved certification
The course takes 4-5 hours. There is an intensive exam review which is spot on. Exams are taken that day. Certificates are granted after passing the exam.
If you request your live course in Spanish, we have a translator at cost.

2) A non-accredited Live Food Handler’s course. All participants will receive a certificate of completion. For groups of 4 or more.
Training is everything, especially in these changing times. Many of our workers need a tune-up and we are here to give it to you. This option is great as the sessions can last anywhere from 1-5 hours. The course will be custom tailored to your needs.
We offer training on everything from:
· Taking Food temps, ensuring accountability of your staff
· Cleaning and Sanitizing
· Proper Food Dating, controlling inventory and cost
· Cleaning and maintenance. Maintaining your mandatory cleaning schedule
· Proper handwashing steps and glove wearing
· Eating inside your facility, the does and don’ts for your staff
· Working while sick and reporting illnesses
· Keeping the Health Department happy
· Food Allergies training, avoiding Cross-Contact and ensuring your customers stay safe from potential allergies
· Cooling foods
· Thawing foods (defrosting)
· Receiving and Storage of our foods
· Recalls
· Kitchen area requirements
This course is a great way to improve productivity and a great way to make sure your staff follow the required food safety standards set out by our local regulatory group, the health Department.
