Throughout the tri-state our Local Regulatory Group the Health Department requires that all food establishments that serve food to the public be “Food Safety Manager” certified. For many of us this means ServSafe certification. NYC has an entirely different certification requirement all together.

Westchester County calls for all food establishments to have at least 1 individual be certified in each establishment. There is a required course which can last anywhere from 5-14 hours of training. Westchester Food Safety offers several options. Visit us online and check out our course dates: https://www.westchesterfoodsafety.com/food-safety-classes
